Temporary traffic lights are set o be in place along a stretch of the A70 in Ochiltree for over a week.
A portable traffic lights system will be in operation on the Burnock Bridge as you enter Ochiltree from the Cumnock side.
It follows four full weekends of closures along the bridge to allow for bridge maintenance work to be carried out.
The latest work, which is parapet and masonry repairs, will take place traffic management in place from Friday, October 20 until at least Sunday, October 29.
The lights are set to be in place 24 hours a day.
A separate road closure is in place this weekend along the A70 between Lugar and Muirkirk.
