The final weekend of work on a section of the A70 near Lugar for this weekend has been cancelled.
Plans had been made for part of the A70 to close in both directions for three weekends this month, to allow resurfacing work to take place.
The first two weekends of work took place on October 7/8 and 14/15.
The final weekend was set for this Saturday 21 and Sunday 22.
However, Ayrshire Roads Alliance have now said tha the work has been cancelled.
The road is set to be fully open to traffic, with all outstanding work will be completed via temporary traffic management.
