Meet the voice of youth at Drongan Primary in 2003. These youngsters were elected to the school council to represent pupils for the coming year. The new mounted Jean Armour statue in Mauchline was taking on worldwide importance in 2003. And this was highlighted when the Mauchline Burns Club welcomed visitors from the Burns World Federation.

Pupils from Patna Primary School got the chance to learn what to do if there is a gas leak. They were visited by local MSP Cathy Jamieson and Transco, the company responsible for the UK’s gas supply network.
