A talented dance group in Cumnock held their annual dance group.

PA Dance Academy held with show with 85 pupils performing and two prize winners being announced.

Jorja Kerr won the Bella Jean Award and Ellis Cowan won Paul Joseph Award. 

These awards are given out for hard work, enthusiasm, effort, dedication and enjoyment of dance and performance.

Principal and owner of PA Dance Academy, Pauline Auld said: "Our annual concert this year was Musical & Movies.

"[It was] an outstanding performance from all our stars. From the tiny tots to our senior pupils.

"I am very proud of them all. Their hard work and dedication shined through in their performance. 

"Classes are open to children from two years and up. The classes are held at New Cumnock Town Hall which include Acrobatic Arts, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Tap.

"We have two summer workshops planned this year, Little Mermaid Musical Theatre Workshop for children primary one to seven, and Dance Video workshop for children ages 10 upwards. "

The Little Mermaid workshop will take place on Tuesday, July 25 and Wednesday, July 26 from 11am-3pm at New Cumncok Town hall.
