Lugar Bowling Club have been continuing their fine season with some favourite tournaments taking place recently.

On Saturday, they held the Brian and Karin Gilmour memorial Trophy. 

This was a great day with huge interest and saw pair Jordan Murray and Ronnie Kelly beating Eric Bradford Jim Hume.

The bowling club also recently hosted The Neil Valentine Memorial Trophy in memory of past president and long time member Neil Valentine.

Some great bowling saw winners Derek Neil and John Kelly overcome Dougie Haining and Stephen McPeators in a closely contested final.

Lugar Bowling Club say they are forever grateful to relatives Aida and Gordon Valentine for their continued support.

The club's popular 'numpties' tournament also took place with another fun day of great bowls and fancy dress.

A great day was capped off with a great final, that saw Derek Millin, Jordan Murray and Jill Walton beat Kyle Smith, Tammy Scott and Kori-Lee Dickie.
