Alzheimer Scotland will be hosting a fun-filled event in East Ayrshire to mark Dementia Awareness Week.

Held on Thursday, June 1 at the Park Hotel, Kilmarnock, the event will aim to raise vital funds for people with dementia and their carers in East Ayrshire.

Music fans across East Ayrshire are advised to buy their tickets now for what promises to be a fantastic night of music and entertainment.

The concert is just one of hundreds of events and activities taking place across Scotland to mark Dementia Awareness Week from May 29 to June 4, 2023.

This year’s theme for Dementia Awareness Week is seeing the person behind the diagnosis

The night will feature several great Ayrshire acts, including the sensational MUSICHOIR, The Borland Ceilidh Band, True Colours and Coast Harmony with MC Johnny Griffen.

There will also be a raffle on the night with a range of fantastic prizes, including the chance to be a firefighter for a day.

Tickets are £15 and are available from Alzheimer Scotland’s Dementia Resource Centre at 8-12 College Wynd, Kilmarnock.
