Drivers will be faced with temporary lights close to Templeton Roundabout, Auchinleck next month as maintenance work is carried out.

Roads bosses, Amey, will be undertaking the work on the A76 from Tuesday, June 6 until Friday, June 23.

The work includes street lighting, signage and bollard upgrades.

Work is set to be carried out between 9.30am and 4pm, each day.

New columns and cabling will improve road safety and reduce the number of maintenance visits needed with updated signage increasing visibility on the approach to the roundabout.

It's hoped that the scheme will benefit around 10,000 vehicles using this route each day.
