NEW luxury glamping pods have now been officially opened near Ochiltree.
The Barlosh Luxury Glamping Pods site offers two luxury bespoke T.Pods with hot tubs in their own enclosed area with private views of the rolling Ayrshire countryside.
Both pods currently available have been named after local mining landmarks - Barony and Killoch.
They are ideal for those looking for an extraordinary, luxurious experience inside and out, with a private Jacuzzi, BBQ, fire pit, indoor-outdoor living area, and some truly amazing views.
And a third pod will be added as the season continues.
Owner Tracey McKay told the Chronicle: "We are really looking forward to our first season.
"We were supposed to get the pods in August last year, but they didn't arrive until January. Now we are finally good to go. And it looks stunning
"These are nor your normal glamping pods - they are large and very upmarket.
"We are not looking for the party weekend parties - these pods suit two adults and two kids and I am very pleased with them. We are not charging crazy prices either.
"And we have views to die for...
"We have already had a couple of honeymoon bookings.
"We are also keen to help other local businesses and we are promoting the local attractions, companies, coffee shops and stores, as well as bigger attractions such as Dumfries House."
Inside the Barony pod, there is a king size four post bed, kitchen with all the amenities, en-suite bathroom, smart tv, internet, sofa/sofa bed, plugs and USB charging ports and heating.
Outside, Barony has a large covered paved terrace with an outside/inside feel. On the terrace is an amazing hot tub, outdoor sofa and egg chair for your comfort and decorative plants.
There is also your private use BBQ and fire pit area. And for animal lovers, the Barony is pet friendly.
Killoch boasts all the amenities you require and more. A luxurious four post king size bed, fully equipped kitchen, en-suite room, sofa/sofa bed, smart tv, wi-fi and USB charging ports.
Killoch also has an outdoor/indoor private terrace with an amazing hot tub, outdoor sofa, egg chair for your comfort, and decorative plants and lighting. There is also a private use BBQ & fire pit area where you can enjoy some outside cooking.
