Muirkirk will play host to the rally drivers of the future in Scotland this weekend.

As part of round two of the Albar Kames Trophy Rally, 14 crews will line up for the 2023 Junior 1000 Ecosse Challenge.

Taking place at Kames motor circuit near Muikirk on Sunday, May 14, it will be the second of eight stages of this year's championship.

The Kames track was built by members of the East Ayrshire Car Club in the early 1980s and opened in 1984.

It hosts everything from sprints to rallies and test days.

This weekend will see round one winners Oliver Phillips and Barry Young line up second in their new for this season Citigo.
