Police are appealing for information after a car was set on fire in an East Ayrshire village.
The incident took place in Portland Road in Dalrymple at around 12.05am on Tuesday, May 9.
There were no injuries and matter is being treated as a wilful fireraising.
Detective Sergeant Jamie Carruth said: “We’re asking for anyone with information, or who may have seen any suspicious activity nearby to please come forward.

“There will be an increased police presence in the area over the coming days.
“Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident 0034 of May 9, 2023.
"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
