THE opening date for New Cumnock's popular outdoor swimming pool has been revealed.

After a series of essential repairs, a full timetable of public swimming, exercise classes, and family-friendly sessions has been created at the pool, which is run by The Prince's Foundation, owners and operators of nearby Dumfries House.

Public swimming is available on Mondays and Tuesday from 5-6pm, Thursdays from 12.30-5.30pm, Fridays from 2-7.30pm, Saturdays from 12-2.30pm and Sundays from 12.30-3pm.

A new specific time has been allocated to Wednesdays, dedicated to learning support groups, as well as After School Clubs on a Monday and Tuesday.

Ahead of the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III, founder of The Prince’s Foundation, the pool has announced details of two of celebratory public events.

Aquatrim, on Friday, May 5 from 6-9pm, offers an exercise class with poolside buffet for just £10 per person.

The ever-popular Swim Under The Stars will return on the evening of Saturday, May 6.
