DOON Valley residents will get their last chance to have a say on the draft proposals for the new Doon Valley Community Campus at an event in Dalmellington this week.
East Ayrshire Council is holding a drop-in event at Dalmellington Community Centre on Wednesday, April 19 from 6-8pm as part of a 'pre-application consultation' on the plans.
The local authority says the event "will provide updated design proposals to view and discuss with members of the project team".
The council is planning a new secondary school, primary school, early years centre, additional support needs centre, leisure centre, health centre and police station on the site of Doon Academy and Dalmellington Primary.
Residents will get a further chance to comment on the finalised plans when a formal planning application is lodged with council officials later this year
People who would like to make comments outwith Wednesday's event can do so by writing to East Ayrshire Council's facilities and property management section at 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock KA1 1DD or by emailing DVCC_Project@east-ayrshire.gov.uk no later than Wednesday, April 26.
