Cumnock couple Robert and Pat Wallace have recently celebrated a momentous achievement.
The pair have been married for a remarkable 65 years - and recently celebrated the 'blue sapphire' anniversary.
Robert and Pat are the second couple in a few weeks to celebrate this great occasion, after John and Elizabeth Anderson from the town also reached the milestone.
Depute Provost Claire Leitch, Councillor June Kyle and Deputy Lieutenant Eric Ross visited Robert and Pat Wallace recently to pass on their congratulations.
The couple were presented with a bouquet of flowers from East Ayrshire Council, while Eric presented them with a telegram from the King.
