Ticketing details for the huge Scottish Junior Cup semi-final match between Cumnock Juniors and Glenafton Athletic have been revealed.

The local rivals will face off on Friday, April 14 at Meadow Park in Irvine.

Both clubs have now been told that they will be allocated 950 tickets, with tickets available for pay-at-the-gate spectators.

The capacity will be capped at 2,000 fans.

Cumnock and Glenafton expect to receive their tickets on Thursday, and then will then plan for sales thereafter.

Tickets are priced £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

Gates will open at 6.30pm on the night.

Glenafton officials will be taking names at tonight's match against Auchinleck Talbot for anyone who wishes to reserve a ticket.

Cumnock's tickets are due to go on sale at their social club at their weekend home match to Kirkintilloch Rob Roy.

The semi-final tie between the teams will kick off at 7.30pm.

The last four showdown was due to take place just a short trip away for both teams, at fellow East Ayrshire rivals Auchinleck Talbot's home ground.

However, after some safety concerns raised by both sets of fans, the Scottish Junior FA announced a change of venue.

The Nock have not tasted Scottish Junior Cup glory since 1989, having appeared in their last final in 2008.

Glenafton were last triumphant in this cup back in 2017, when Alan Cairns' thunderous strike saw off Auchinleck Talbot in the final.

The winner of April's derby tie will face either Rutherglen Glencairn or Dundee side East Craigie in the final.
