A Cumnock woman assaulted and threatened to stab staff after trying to steal items from a supermarket in the town.
Lyndsay Anderson, 37, was jailed guilty to assault and threatening behaviour towards retail staff at Farmfoods in Townhead Street.
She admitted taking a quantity on laundry products from the store on April 19, 2022.
At the time Anderson was the subject of a bail order granted at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
She also assaulted a female worker during the incident, seizing her by the arm to her injury.
Anderson, of Walker Court, pleaded guilty to making threats of violence towards a male retail worker and threatening to stab him.
When she returned to the dock last week, Anderson was jailed for two months.
