An incredible Cumnock couple have recently celebrated an extraordinary wedding acheivement.
John and Elizabeth Anderson reached the landmark of 65 years of marriage - their 'blue sapphire' wedding anniversary.
The loving couple got a special visit from representatives from East Ayrshire Council to pass on their congratulations on this unique occasion.
Depute Provost Claire Leitch and Councillor Billy Crawford gave the Andersons the authority's best wishes and presented them with a bouquet of flowers.
Ayrshire Deputy Lieutenant Eric Ross also presented them with a telegram from the King.
Congratulations to the couple, and here's to those Platinum celebrations in five years!
