A DRONGAN man has been held on remand for allegedly stalking and repeatedly failing to obey non-harassment orders.
John Duff, 61, faced five charges when he was brought to Ayr Sheriff Court from custody last week.
Duff, who was listed in court documentation as a resident of East Ayrshire, but who is known to reside in Drongan, faces a charge of allegedly causing fear and alarm by stalking.
He is also accused of failing to comply with previous bail conditions, as well as three separate counts of breaching non-harassment orders.
Duff, who was represented by defence solicitor Peter Lockhart, entered no plea to the allegations during a private petition hearing held before Sheriff John Montgomery on Tuesday, February 14.
He was committed for further examination and was remanded in custody pending a further court hearing.
He is due to appear for his full committal hearing at a later date.
