The date, time and venue for the mouth-watering Scottish Junior Cup semi-final between Cumnock and Glenafton have all been confirmed.

After being paired up in last week's draw for the last four tie, the teams will do battle just along the road, at Auchinleck Talbot's Beechwood Park.

The match will take place on Friday, April 14, with a 7.30pm kick-off.

Further ticketing announcements will be made in due course.

Nock have not tasted Scottish Junior Cup glory since 1989, having appeared in their last final in 2008.

Glenafton were last triumphant in the tournament back in 2017, when Alan Cairns' thunderous strike saw off Auchinleck Talbot in the final.

The winner of April's derby tie will face either Rutherglen Glencairn or Dundee side East Craigie in the final.
