A woman has been reported after a two-vehicle crash on the A76 last night (February 14).
The incident happened between Sanquhar and Kelloholm shortly after 8pm.
Police were called to the scene, with a woman being reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with road offences.
Nobody is believed to have been hurt in the incident.
The road was closed for a short time, before being reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.20pm on Tuesday, 14 February, 2023, police were called to the A76 near Sanquhar, following a report of a two-vehicle crash.
"The road was cleared around 9.10pm. One woman will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with road traffic offences.”
