YOUNGSTERS in New Cumnock got creative at a community arts and crafts event this week.
With local schools on holiday until Thursday, the New Cumnock Development Trust stepped in with a programme of events to keep children busy.
Held at the New Cumnock station building, Monday’s sessions - for children in P1 and P2 in the morning and P3/4/5 over lunchtime - featured plenty of chances for the kids to get messy with paints and glues, including making their own handprints and footprints on a giant canvas laid out on the floor of the venue.
Sessions continued on Tuesday with Lego free play and concluded on Wednesday with a family bingo session in the Campbell Hall at Loch Park from 11am until 12.30pm.
