Two flats in Catrine and Auchinleck are set to go up at auction, for a combined starting price of less than £55,000.

A one-bedroom flat in Auchinleck is one of the properties to go under the hammer.

The property, at 131 Main Street, will be auctioned Future Property Auctions on February 16, with a 3pm deadline for offers.

Recent rentals of the flat brought in £249 per month.

The two-bedroom flat on Catrine's St Germain Street has a guide price of £20,000.

Rightmove's description of the property says that renting it out could fetch anywhere between £249-£450 per month.

It is set to go up at auction on February 23 between 10am-3pm.
