Muirkirk Primary pupils recently turned into eco-warriors to clean up some of the mess around the village.
Youngsters in P6/7 at the school hit the streets in a bid to rid their community of dog dirt.
During their outdoor learning sessions, they saw lots of instances of dog fouling around the village and decided to do something about it.
They are trying to make an impact by installing four disposable bag dispensers for dog waste in and around the community.
Pupils hope this will reduce the amount of dog fouling.
