Eight sheep have been left dead after a concerning incident in East Ayrshire last month.
The incident happened around January 21, near Keyshill Farm between Mauchline and Stair.
As well as the eight dead sheep, four others were also left injured.
Police are now appealing for anyone with any information about what might have caused this to happen.
A police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information about a sheep-worrying incident near Keyshill Farm, Mauchline, around the 21st of January.
"The incident left eight sheep dead, with a further four injured."
