Three East Ayrshire football matches have been postponed tonight due to the freezing weather.

Auchinleck Talbot, Cumnock Juniors and Glenafton Athletic have all had their WoSFL Premier Division matches called off tonight.

Talbot were due to host Largs Thistle, Cumnock would have entertained Kilwinning Rangers and Glenafton would have welcomed Petershill to New Cumnock.

All matches have been rescheduled for next Wednesday, January 25.

All the clubs had carried out work to try and save the games, with frost covers being placed over the Beechwood Park playing surface.

Only two matches have survived the cold weather so far and are due to go ahead.

An all-Ayrshire match will take place as Troon host Beith. Clydebank host Arthurlie in the other match.

Talbot, Cumnock and Glenafton will all hope to be back in action this Saturday, with all three teams facing away trips.

Talbot make the short trip to Hurlford, Cumnock travel to face Petershill and Glenafton take on Irvine Meadow. All matches will kick off at 1.30pm.
