A new station commander is in charge in East Ayrshire, and will take control of three stations in the area.
David Murray has been promoted to the role of Station Commander within Scottish Fire and Rescue Service’s East, South and North Ayrshire division.
David will form part of the local Prevention and Protection Team and will be responsible for Dalmellington, Mauchline and Muirkirk Community Fire Stations.
Local Senior Officer for East Ayrshire, North Ayrshire and South Ayrshire, Ian McMeekin said: “Congratulations to David Murray on his promotion to the role of Station Commander within SFRS East, North and South Ayrshire”.
