A DISQUALIFIED driver was busted riding a motorcycle in Auchinleck 20 minutes after buying it.
Colin Drummond, 30, admitted riding the motorbike while banned and without insurance on Heathfield Road on March 11 last year.
The Procurator Fiscal depute said: “At 5.30pm police officers observed the accused riding a motorcycle and advised to stop.
“Checks showed he was disqualified from driving and no valid insurance. He was cautioned and charged and the motorcycle seized.
Defence solicitor Tony Currie explained: “He had the bike for the sum period of 20 minutes.
“He bought it but unfortunately temptation got the better of him”.
Drummond, of Old Avenue Road Auchinleck, was fined £300 at Ayr Sheriff Court and further disqualified for a year.
