A Muirkirk café has been listed for sale on Rightmove - and the owners say their 'small break' over Christmas and New Year could last forever if the right buyer comes along.
TopDexter Café, located on the village's Main Street, is on the market for £75,000.
The café is currently closed for the Christmas holiday, but the owners posted a message on social media, saying that break could "last forever".
Posting last week, they said: "From Saturday [December 24] until 8th of January we will be closed for a little break as usual at this time of the year.
"Most of you know that our shop is for sale on the market from last week, so if we find a buyer during this period we will definitely let you know that our "little break "will last forever".
The Rightmove description of the property tells how the current owners have built it up to be a favourite over the past few years.
It says: "Top Dexter Cafe is a very popular local, sit-in cafe and takeaway business, which has been built up over a period of almost 12 years by the current owners.
"Weekly café sales average approx £1,700 per week from 6 day opening (closed Sunday), with opening hours of just 9am till 2pm. Additional income opportunity available to extend trading hours to include evening and Sunday opening."
