Water pressure issues are continuing to affect people in Auchinleck.

The issues have been persistent for a number of days, with people in Mauchline Road, Sorn Road and other area of the village being affected by water pressure issues.

Residents have been in contact with Scottish Water for the last few days as they look for a solution to continuous problems.

Some people have even claimed to be without heating as a result of the pressure issues.

Those living on Mauchline Road, Sorn Road and other parts of Auchinleck say they have been told by Scottish Water that investigations are underway to determine the cause of the issue.

One person said: "I've been on the phone to them every day for almost the past week.

"Even on Sunday I was trying to get them on the phone because it nearly affected out Christmas dinner.

"We just want to know what's causing this or when it will get fixed, because it's been going on far too long.

"There are old people living on this street that have been having issues for too long. I don't know if it's still because of the weather had the other week and it's still causing issues, but something needs done quickly."

Hydrosave vans have apparently been out to see if they can detect the cause of the issue.

Hydrosave has provided leak detection services to Scottish Water for a number of years.

Scottish Water have been contacted for information on these issues.
