A yellow weather warning for rain is in place for parts of south-west Scotland this afternoon.
Met Office have issued the warning from between 3pm today for the remainder of the day.
The warning covers parts of East Ayrshire, South Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway.
Bus and train services are likely to be affected by the weather, with journey times taking longer.
Those driving later today are asked to remain cautious as spray and flooding is expected on roads.
Met Office have also said that flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely.
Advice on what to do in a flood, and other advice, is available on the Met Office website.
