A fallen tree is causing travel issues on the Barony Road between Auchinleck and Ochiltree.

High winds and heavy rain has cause the issue, which is affecting the side of the road heading towards Ochiltree.

Drivers are having move into the middle of the road to avoid the stricken tree.

Large puddles of rain are also causing issues on the road, with drivers being advised to drive with caution along the road.

Police are believed to be aware of the issue on the road.

Ayrshire police have said: "Fallen trees are affecting roads in Ayrshire, with a yellow weather warning in place until 2pm today for strong winds and heavy rain.

"If you are travelling you should ensure you and your vehicle are adequately prepared for the conditions making sure you have sufficient fuel and supplies such as warm clothing, food and water in the event you are delayed.

"Charge your mobile phone and plan your route as well as alternative routes."
