It was sixty years married and counting for one incredible Dalmellington couple who recently celebrated an extraordinary milestone.
William and Mary Gemmell recently notched up 60 years of marriage together.
Wedding back in 1962, the couple were treated on their special day by a visit from depute provost Claire Leitch and Councillor Drew Filson.
Mr and Mrs Gemmell were gifted flowers on behalf of East Ayrshire Council.
Cllr Filson said: "It was with great pleasure to present the lovely couple with flowers from East Ayrshire Council today, with Deputy Provost Claire Leitch."
Congratulations to the happy couple!
