MEMBERS of the Sanquhar branch of the Royal British Legion recently paid their respects to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Members of the group got together last Friday to lay a wreath in memory of The Queen at Sanquhar War Memorial site.
Andy Hiddleston placed down the wreath on behalf of the Sanquhar branch, before members paused for a moment's reflection.
Many bunches of flowers had already been placed down by the public as a sign of their respect, following The Queen's passing.
The Queen's funeral service was held at Westminster Abbey on Monday morning.
