A yellow weather warning for rain is in place across Ayrshire for tomorrow (September 3), according to the Met Office.
Heavy rain is forecast across the area, which could cause difficulties with driving and other modes of transport.
The warning is in place for the full day.
Rainfall totals of 30 to 40mm could fall in two-three hours in some places with a small chance of 80 to 100mm in 24 hours.
The Met Office says there is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings.
They add: "There is a small chance that some communities will become cut off by flooded roads.
"There is a slight chance of power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses."
