People from all over Scotland the north of England took part in the New Cumnock Sprint triathlon and Children’s Aquathon at the weekend.
The triathlon route encompassed a swim in New Cumnock pool as well as a run and cycle through the village and the beautiful countryside.
The winners of the 90-strong Spring Triathlon field were Lorna Todd (Ayrodynamic Tri Club) and Andy McGhee of Police Scotland.
A Prince's Foundation spokesperson said: "Well done to all competitors who took part in yesterday’s New Cumnock Sprint Triathlon and Children's Aquathon, which saw competitors from all over Scotland and the north of England arrive in East Ayrshire.
"The triathlon route encompassed a swim in Scotland’s only public, freshwater, heated outdoor swimming pool as well as a run and cycle through New Cumnock and the beautiful countryside beyond."
