PLANS to build eight new homes in Lugar have been submitted to East Ayrshire Council.
Applicant Rome Developments Ltd is seeking permission to build on vacant land on Peesweep Brae in the village.
The one-acre site – which, according to background papers published on the council’s website, is owned by the applicant – forms part of the Lugar Industrial Estate.
In addition to the eight new homes the proposals include 20 parking spaces.
No supporting design statement has yet been published on the council’s website, though the local authority’s planning department has set a deadline of September 30 for a decision.
