Stage two of Scottish Water work in Patna is set to begin next week, as part of investment of over £1million in the area.

The £1.3m fund will aim to ensure customers can continue to enjoy clear, fresh drinking water.

The project is being delivered by Scottish Water’s in-house delivery team with their main contractors Caledonia Water Alliance.

Having started on Tuesday, May 3, the project is expected to take around 34 weeks to complete.

Now 12 weeks into the works, the second stage will begin on Monday, August 8 and will last around a week.

During this session of progression, Carskeoch Drive will be closed from the junction of Blaney Avenue to outside number 65 Carskeoch for around five days.

Alternative routes will be in place.

Further checkpoint dates are currently scheduled for Monday, August 15; Monday, October 31, and Monday, November 14.

Various road closures and traffic management measures will be in place throughout the work.

The investment will also help to reduce the risk of bursts, increasing the resilience of the water mains network for the local community.

Anyone with any concerns about the works, can report a problem to Scottish Water on 0800 0778 778.
