A LOCAL acoustic music group has begun holding weekly music circle ‘jam sessions’ in New Cumnock.
The Sweet Afton Water group (SAW) meets in Munro’s Bar, 116 Castle, New Cumnock every Monday from 7-9pm.
Set up seven years ago, the group’s regular sessions at New Cumnock Town Hall, held on the last Sunday afternoon of every month, are a regular feature of the area’s events Weekly jam sessions at New Cumnock venue Wednesday July 13, 2022.
The group’s next Sunday session at the town hall takes place on July 31 – but before then, they’re holding an additional ‘Tartan Day’ session at New Cumnock Bowling Club on Sunday, July 24 as part of efforts to try and drum up interest in holding a New Cumnock Music Festival.
