SEVERAL New Cumnock organisations were in attendance by special invite at the Queen’s Garden Party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.
An annual event, The Queen hosts thousands at the Palace in recognition of their good public work.
The event was attended this year by public figures such as Prince Charles and First Minister Nicola Sturgeon plus many others.
The visits celebrate Scottish culture, achievement and community.
Sheena Boyd and Laura Pagan from New Cumnock Development Trust and Iain Burgoyne from New Cumnock Scout Group were invited to, and are pictured at the event.
Mr Burgoyne, vice-chair of the New Cumnock Development Trust, said: "An amazing time was had by all being able to be part of such a fantastic day.
"So many members of the Royal Family and other VIPs mingling with the crowds. It was such an honour and a privilege to be invited to a memorable day."
New Cumnock Development Trust aims to boost the local economy, social conditions and environment in New Cumnock and the surrounding area, while New Cumnock Scout Group is the local arm of Scouts Scotland.
