The Cairn Table Race
The Cairn Table Race is back so it’s time to grab your running shoes and hit the hills.
The Cairn Table Race, on Wednesday, July 13, is part of the annual Bog and Burns Hill Running Series, a series of 12 Wednesday evening races, spread out over the Summer.
Described on many walking sites as a ‘proper Ayrshire hill,’ the Cairn Table, near Muirkirk, at 7.2km, is one of Ayrshire’s finest.
Entry is £10, or £8 for SAF members. Registration is through entrycentral.com prior to the race. Entries on the night are not permitted.
The race will be chip timed and be in a time trial format, with runners able to start any time between 6.30pm and 8pm.
