A man has been charged after a quantity of Class A and B drugs were found in a property in Cumnock.
The Class A drugs, believed to be cocaine and ecstasy, and the Class B drugs, believed to be cannabis, had a street value of around £25,000, according to police.
A large quantity of money was also found during the raid, cops say..
Yesterday (Wednesday, June 1), officers from the Ayrshire proactive crime team attended the property in Davaar Avenue, Cumnock with a drugs search warrant granted by a sheriff.
A 22-year-old man has been charged with being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs and has been released to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court at a later date.
DI Ross Black of Ayrshire CID said, "Local people have consistently told us that drug dealing and misuse is a major concern to them - and support from members of the public is vital to our work.
"I would like to thank our community for their continued support in tackling these issues and encourage anyone with information regarding drug dealing or suspicious activity to please contact us."
