Roadworks and traffic restrictions will be in place in Mauchline this weekend, to deal with the high volume of people expected in attendance at the Holy Fair.
A traffic order is in which means that people cannot drive any vehicles on Castle Street and Cowgate Mauchline between 6am and 9pm on Saturday, May 28.
The enforcement also makes it unlawful for any person and any from vehicle to wait on B743 High St from A76 to Mansefield Rd and Loudoun St from A76 south-westwards for 237m, during the same time period.

The Order is in force from 06:00 hrs on 28/05/22 until 21:00 hrs on 28/05/22 and will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency access and vehicular access for residents/owners/occupiers within the closures will be permitted to and from their properties.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative routes will be signposted, but pre-planning is advised, with routes available to check on the Ayrshire Roads Alliance website.
