McChesney after the Scottish Junior Cup final
Glenafton Athletic have announced plans to kickstart a club legend’s testimonial celebrations.
Ryan McChesney joined the club in the 2010/11 season.
He was part of the famous treble winners of the 2016/17, including that unforgettable win over local rivals Auchinleck Talbot in the Scottish Junior Cup Final.
McChesney officially left the Glens in January, but testimonial plans were put on hold until the conclusion of this season.
Making just short of 300 appearances for the New Cumnock side, McChesney’s testimonial match will take place at Loch Park on Sunday, July 24, with a 2pm kick off.
There will also be a DJ on at the Campbell Hall after the match.
Tickets cost £6 with full squad details yet to be announced.
