A CONSULTATION is now open for people to have their say on planned improvements to the A70 road between Cumnock and Ayr, via Ochiltree and Coylton.
Ayrshire Roads Alliance on behalf of South Ayrshire and East Ayrshire Councils have appointed Sweco as Lead Consultant to undertake a review of potential improvements.
A number of issues have been identified on this route however, including high speeds, congestion and safety.
The public survey is open until Monday, June 6, and allows anyone to voice any concerns they have about the road.
The survey can be found by going to the Ayrshire Roads Alliance website, under the ‘Consultations’ heading.
