Glenafton Athletic have announced that Ryan Stevenson will take over as manager of the club.

The Loch Park side only parted company with former boss Mick McCann on Monday, and they already have a new man at the helm.

Stevenson has enjoyed a stellar playing career, coming through the ranks at Chelsea before plying his trade with the likes of Hearts, Ayr United and Ipswich Town.

Mark Roberts will be Stevenson's assistant at the Glens, having experienced a solid playing career of his own.
