Auchinleck Talbot
Talbot’s Gareth Armstrong has been named the club’s Player of the Month for January.
The club’s month included a 5-0 defeat to Heart of Midlothian, but also featured three vital wins against Craigmark Burtonians, Irvine Meadow and Beith.
Armstrong featured in all of the matches.
The 28-year-old was a former product of the Ayr United Football Academy, which he joined in 2007. He made his Ayr United debut in 2011, in a second division match against Brechin City.
After joining Troon in 2012, it wasn’t long before Auchinleck Talbot and Tommy Sloan took notice of his obvious ability.
Armstrong joined Talbot in 2017.
