Santa Claus was a sight to behold on Christmas Eve this year as he made his way round the streets of Sanquhar - helped on his way by some festive fire fighters.
Fire fighters from Sanquhar Community Fire Station escorted the Christmas legend round on his makeshift sleigh as boys and girls cheered from the pavement.
The firemen, donning Santa hats and their luminous work gear, carried donation buckets, too, in case anyone was feeling charitable.
We ho-ho-hope everyone in the village had a fantastic evening.
