The winners of the Kelloholm Primary School Christmas Light Design competition have been announced.

Kai Stobbs and Annie Campbell won the prize for having the best design.

The students had to draw a design that they would like to see be made into a Christmas light.

The competition was run by Dumfries and Galloway Council in partnership with Kirkconnel and Kelloholm Community Council.

The pair were presented with their prizes from both the council and the community council at the Christmas lights switch on in Kirkconnel earlier this month.
