FIREFIGHTERS in New Cumnock have pulled off an incredible drive-thorugh Santa event which has raised a massive £1,154 for The Fire Fighters Charity.
On Tuesday, December 14, fire crews from the New Cumnock community fire station and Santa Claus bid Merry Christmas to passers-by in aid of service workers across the country.
New Cumnock Development Trust (NCDT) provided £200 worth of selection boxes to the station as well as a festive afternoon tea for the squad, which helped them on their way.
A spokesperson said: “Hopefully this is the start of a good idea and we will be back bigger next year.”
