Economy: Cumnock politicians support local firms on Small Business Saturday
Cumnock’s politicians indulged in a spot of retail therapy this week to mark Small Business Saturday.
Elena Whitham MSP popped into Timbermills in the town and was shown around by the team. She said: “Small local businesses are vital to our communities and it was great to be out with councillor Jim McMahon in Cumnock yesterday speaking with shop owners including Timbermills where I found Swedish torches for camping.”
Allan Dorans also got involved, adding: “Small businesses need our help like never before.”
