New Cumnock could be about to erupt with festive cheer as the New Cumnock Development Trust have announced the beginning of their Best
Festive Window Competition 2021.
The competition will see business owners in the community decorate their shopfronts with Yuletide decorations, each aiming to be the best-presented for the Trust’s Christmas comp.
A spokesperson from the NCDT said: “To raise some festive and more importantly community cheer, we would love to see our local businesses decorate their shopfronts in preparation for Santa coming to town.
“We hope as many business as possible take part and can’t wait to see what you come up with.”
After participants have confirmed with the NCDT that their display is up, a poll will be held, with the community of New Cumnock voting for their favourite.
Businesses wishing to take part must message the NCDT Facebook page no later than this Friday (November 26) and shopfronts must be decorated by Sunday, December 5 to be considered in the voting. Best of luck to all those taking part.
